Kathy Slamp is a pastor's wife and a pastor's daughter. For many years she worked in the public arena as a teacher, high school assistant principal, and master teacher. In 2001, Kathy took a huge step of faith, resigned her teaching position, and began a full-time national speaking and writing ministry. God has blessed Vessel Ministries and Kathy's efforts. She speaks to groups of all sizes—for church groups as well as in the secular sector. Her sense of humor and sincerity, coupled with her keen understanding of the Word, endear her to audiences everywhere. Kathy has authored ten books. Kathy’s church office seminar, Ministry or Madness?, has been presented from coast-to-coast in over 40 cities. During the summers, Kathy serves as a naturalist for one of the major cruise lines in Alaska. In this capacity she speaks each week to thousands of people from every country in the world. She is married to Dr. David Slamp, and they reside in Medford, Oregon where he serves on the pastoral team of a large church.

Alan Nelson is a pastor, church planter, trainer, and student of leadership who is curious about impacting lives and the church. He has a doctorate (Ed.D.) in leadership and is the author of a dozen books and over 100 articles. Alan serves as the executive editor of Rev! Magazine and the “pastoral ministry champion” at Group. He has been married for 26 years to Nancy and has three sons.
